I need to distribute citrix receiver to clients with computer startup scripts and tried 1) with in-place upgrade and 2) receiver cleanup utility then reboot and fresh install. We dont use automatic reconnect, workspace control etc. we use netscaler 11 for external access with simple username/password authentication and with receiver 4.3 the login prompt only shows up when i start a citrix app. even with a manual install, after clean uninstall of the 4.3 receiver and reboot.Īs long as i stay within my network (with passthrough authentication) the login prompt never pops up, but when i leave the network the prompts appear every few minutes and the receiver window falls back to the green bubble theme as long as user does not authenticate (we have custom storefront theme which is perfectly applied when within the network or when user authenticates against netscaler). This still happens to me with receiver 4.6 (tried receiver 4.5 before with same problem).
