It's not really an issue if you set both settings to the same dpi, it's just super annoying. I'm sure it's very useful for people who need to frequently switch between two different dpi settings for some reason, but it's positioned right under where your thumb should rest and I find myself constantly clicking it by mistake. My only real complaint with this mouse is the button that changes dpi. The latter setting is great for scrolling to the bottom of a page or browsing a large inventory menu. I've seen people complain about the scroll wheel but I have no idea why because in my opinion it's the best feature! You can go from super precise to crazy fast scrolling with the click of a button. It's very responsive and the dpi can easily be changed with the configuration app. This would be a perfect mouse for me if the build quality was better but I can't trust Logitech anymore with all these issues on such an expensive mouse.Īs for the grip and weight, I think it feels fine to hold and use but I'm not super picky I know some people are super particular about that stuff. This is an old thread, but I wanted to put in my two cents: it's a great mouse, I'm now on my third one and will probably get another when this one wears out. Not sure if it was the mat or the mouse that was the problem but now the battery doesn't hold a charge so I think the mouse might have been the issue. The final straw for me was that the charging mouse mat stopped working for me and the mouse would die even when on the mat. I got double click issue and had to DIY replace the switches, now my side buttons are starting to do it but I'm too lazy to repair those as well. My journey started with 2 RMAs due to broken mouse wheels (tilting the wheel right was very loose and tilting it left was extremely tight) after the second RMA I just gave up even though the mouse wheel was still not perfect but better than the others. I've had a 903 for years and I'm very disappointed.
